Jonathan popped the question to Jontue on a small wooden bridge in the park where they shared their first date. Outside, it was pouring rain, and Jontue couldn’t understand why Jonathan wanted to go out on such a chilly day. Cuddling under a small red umbrella and trying to stay dry, they both made their way towards the spot where Jonathan had planned to propose. Before Jontue knew it, Jonathan was on one knee with a ring in his hand. Jontue was speechless… She had not expected him to propose anytime soon. They hugged for what seemed like forever as the rain silently fell around them. The two could not be more excited to be married. A few months later Jonathan and Jontue tied the knot in a beautiful old school house located in St.Jacobs, Ontario!
As Jonathan’s sister, I was so happy to be able to document their perfect day- I had dreamed of doing so for a long time! From getting ready early in the morning to saying goodbye late at night- It was such a privilege to be the one that was present at every moment. I felt like I had front row seats to the biggest celebration of the year! Thank you so much, Jonathan and Jontue, for letting me capture not only your wedding, but also your proposal and engagement. I look forward to celebrating many more milestones with you both in the years to come!
