The Guelph Dam and Reservoir is currently one of my favourite locations to shoot at. I think of it as a little ‘hidden gem’ because very few people know about it. I actually discovered it by accident when trying to scout out a different location! I was on my way to look at Guelph Lake Conservation Area, and on my drive there I saw a few cars parked randomly on the side of the road. I could see that the lake was nearby, so I stopped and went to go see what all the excitement was about. And lo and behold- the most PERFECT lakeside photo shoot spot was discovered! 😉
One of my favourite past times (believe it or not) is finding new and interesting places for future shoots. I especially love exploring local areas because I’m always surprised by what I find so close to home. I found some of my favourite places simply by going out and trying something new. So here’s to new adventures and awesome clients like Liv and Josh who are actually planning to travel the world together for one year after they marry! #AdventureAwaits
